FAQ

Questions about website cost

How much does a small-business website cost in New Hampshire?

A DIY builder like Wix or Squarespace runs about $200–$600 a year plus your time. Freelancers typically charge $500–$3,000 for the build, and small agencies $2,500–$7,500 for a basic 5–10 page site. Duggan Technologies charges $1,500 to build, then $150–$450 a month with hosting and changes included.

Why not just use Wix or Squarespace?

You can, and for some businesses it's the right call. The subscription is cheap; the cost is your time to design, write, update and fix it, and you can't take the site with you if you leave the platform.

Is the $1,500 build the whole cost?

It covers designing and building the site. The monthly plan ($150–$450) covers hosting, security, backups, your domain and a set amount of changes each month. Tools you already pay for, like a booking app, stay on your own account.

Do I own the website?

Yes. I can transfer the site, its files and the domain to you at any time, at no cost.

Is there a contract?

A short, plain-English agreement. Plans are month-to-month with no lock-in, and you can cancel with 30 days' notice.

Can I see it before I pay?

Yes. After a quick call, I build a free preview of your site. If you don't love it, you owe nothing.
